Why Methodists Give
We Methodists give financially as both a spiritual practice and a way of expressing our commitment to our congregation and community. Our church’s annual operating budget depends entirely on the generosity and faithfulness of our membership’s giving. We give to fund ministries that matter, that offer hope and healing to members of our congregation and our city. We give to maintain our building, which provides us with a gathering & sending space and safeguards a quality licensed childcare center, TLC, which has served Pocatello since 1977. We give to support the clergy appointed to us by the Annual Conference, taking care of their needs, their families, and their future. And we give to support our wider Methodist connection through apportionments that nourish both regional and global relief efforts, justice ministries, and higher education offerings.

Give by Check
You can get your check to us by —
Placing it in the plate during Sunday worship
Bringing it to the office during our regular hours (M-F, 9:15am—1:00pm)
Mailing it to us at P.O. Box 4015, Pocatello, ID 83205
For one-time donations, please write the purpose (ex. “Pastor’s Discretionary” or “Capital Campaign”) on the memo line. If you’ve made a pledge, we’ll credit your check towards that pledge unless you tell us otherwise.
Give in Cash
It still works! You can make a cash offering during Sunday morning worship or during office hours. Unless otherwise specified, cash goes toward our general operating budget.
